Meet Nicole Olsen

Passion. Experience. Excellence. A Lifetime Dedicated to Horses.

For Nicole Olsen, horses have never been just a hobby or a career — they have been a lifelong passion.

Nicole's equestrian journey began at the age of seven in her native Switzerland. By the age of 13, she was already sharing her knowledge and love for horses by teaching younger riders. What started as a childhood passion grew into a remarkable career built on dedication, exceptional horsemanship, and competitive success.

Today, Nicole is an accomplished equestrian trainer and competitor, specializing in Dressage from beginner through Grand Prix level, while also offering jumping instruction across all levels. Her extensive experience includes advanced groundwork, double-lunge training, and dual activation techniques, all designed to improve a horse's balance, coordination, responsiveness, and overall performance.

International Experience. Proven Results.

Having competed extensively in Switzerland, Nicole brought her European training background and expertise to Southwest Florida when she relocated in 2011. Since then, she has continued to train, compete, and achieve outstanding results in the United States.

Her competitive accomplishments include earning prestigious Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals, along with more than 50 blue ribbons — and counting!

These achievements reflect not only Nicole's technical expertise and competitive dedication but also her ability to develop strong, successful partnerships between horses and riders.

Bringing Out the Best in Every Horse & Rider

What truly sets Nicole apart is her ability to combine European dressage principles with natural horsemanship, patience, and a genuine understanding of each horse's individual personality.

Nicole believes that great riding begins with trust, communication, and mutual respect between horse and rider. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she tailors her training to the individual needs, abilities, and goals of every partnership.

Whether you're a beginner taking your first riding lesson, an experienced rider working toward your next competition, or a horse owner looking to advance your horse's training, Nicole offers the knowledge, encouragement, and personalized attention to help you succeed.

Training is available both at Nicole Olsen Equestrian in Bonita Springs and at clients' own facilities throughout Southwest Florida.

More Than Training — Building Partnerships That Last

Despite her impressive competitive accomplishments, Nicole remains passionate about the fundamentals that first drew her to horses: the joy of riding, the connection between horse and rider, and the satisfaction of helping others achieve their goals.

Her friendly, supportive teaching style makes riders feel welcome and confident, while her high standards and attention to detail help them continually improve.

From your very first ride to the Grand Prix arena, Nicole's mission is simple: to bring out the very best in you and your horse.
